Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2-3 tbsp cold water (for blooming)
  • 1/2 cup hot hibiscus tea (not boiling)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice
  • 1 pinch Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)

Equipment

  • small bowl for blooming gelatin
  • whisk
  • measuring cups and spoons
  • saucepan or kettle for heating water
  • silicone molds or glass dish optional for cubes

Method
 

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let sit for 3–5 minutes until fully bloomed and spongy.
  2. Brew hibiscus tea and allow it to cool slightly to about 170°F (not boiling).
  3. Pour the hot tea over the bloomed gelatin and whisk for 30–45 seconds until completely dissolved and smooth.
  4. Stir in cranberry or pomegranate juice, pink salt, and fresh lemon juice until well combined.
  5. Choose your format: drink warm immediately or pour into molds and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
  6. Consume 15–20 minutes before a meal for best appetite control results.

Notes

Use hibiscus tea for vibrant color and antioxidants, but you can substitute with herbal tea or water. For a sweeter version, add 1 teaspoon raw honey. Best consumed 15–20 minutes before meals for appetite control. Can be prepared as a warm drink or chilled into cubes for weekly meal prep.
