Ingredients

  • 8 –10 oz warm filtered water 100°F / 38°C
  • 1/16 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt a tiny pinch
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juiced
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method

  1. Warm 8-10 oz of filtered water to approximately 100°F — warm, not hot.
  2. Add a tiny pinch (1/16 tsp) of Himalayan pink salt.
  3. Squeeze the juice of half a fresh lemon directly into the glass.
  4. Add optional ingredients (honey, ACV, cayenne) if using.
  5. Stir gently and drink slowly on an empty stomach, 15–20 minutes before breakfast.

Notes

  • Use only 1/16 tsp of salt — more salt can cause water retention, not reduce it.
  • Do not use boiling water — it destroys lemon's vitamin C content.
  • If you have high blood pressure or kidney disease, consult your doctor before adding any extra salt to your diet.
  • This is a hydration drink, not a fat-burning supplement. Weight loss requires a calorie deficit.
  • For stronger appetite control before meals, pair this morning ritual with the gelatin trick before lunch and dinner.
